Blackberry Nectarine Smoothie IAJ

This morning I felt like something cold. Fruity and cold.

So I whipped a new smoothie…and I put it in a jar (IAJ) You could call it BNSIAJ.

Blackberry Nectarine Smoothie

Ingredients:

1/2 Banana

1/4 cup frozen blackberries

1/2 Nectarine

Big handful of spinach–probably about 1 1/2 cups

1 Tbsp chia seeds

Sprinkle of coconut flakes

1 Cup So Delicious Unsweetened Coconut milk beverage

Ice

Please forgive the crooked picture–I was still wearing my glasses when I took this…

The finished product.

It was pretty tasty. The blackberries were a little overpowering, but I could detect the slightest hint of nectarine. Next time: less blackberries, more nectarine!

    That sounds really healthy and delicious!

    My latest smoothie creation is not so original, but I’m really enjoying it: pina colada! Frozen pineapples, coconut flake, and stevia-sweetened So Delicious coconut milk. YUM!
