Eat Well Bootcamp: 10 Questions Answered

I’m really excited about my new, individual health counseling program: The Eat Well Bootcamp.

I’ve been getting lots of interesting questions about this new program, so I thought I’d write a FAQ post to explain it in a little more detail. So, here it goes!

Q: How many people will be at the Eat Well Bootcamp?

A: Just two: YOU and ME! This is an individual, private program for you and you alone! Sure there will be other people doing their own Eat Well Bootcamp programs at the same time, but all of our sessions will be just me and you. Now that’s personalized attention!

Q: Do I have to wake up at 5:00am for Eat Well Bootcamp?

A: Nope! We can schedule your Bootcamp phone sessions at whatever time of day you want! Whether you’re a morning person, or an evening person, your Bootcamp Sessions are meant to be convenient for you.

Q: Are you going to yell at me…like an actual drill sergeant?

A: Maybe…KIDDING! I won’t yell at you, but I will firmly hold you accountable. Our goal is to change your nutrition in just six weeks. I will keep you on track to reach your goals by cheering you on and firmly supporting you.

Q: Where does the bootcamp meet?

A: The Eat Well Bootcamp is a distance counseling program: you can do it all from the comfort of your home or office. Again, it’s all about what’s comfortable and convenient for you!

Q: What are the private Bootcamp sessions like?

A: In the private weekly phone sessions, we’ll talk about how you’re progressing through your personal plan: what’s working and what’s not working. We’ll come up with recommendations for you to try and  you’ll also learn a bunch more about nutrition.

Q: Is it going to be hard?

A: Honestly? It might be hard, depending on how ready you are to change. This program is all about motivating and recreating yourself. I am your support and your guide, but how hard it is depends on YOU and how ready you are.

Q: What’s the difference between the Eat Well Bootcamp and your other individual counseling program?

A: With the Eat Well Bootcamp, you’ll get intense support over the six-week period–it’s an accelerated program for those who are REALLY ready to change and see results. The Individual counseling program takes things a bit slower, and you get support over a period of three or six months. The Individual counseling program is a life changing experience in itself, and it’s a great option for continued support after your Eat Well Bootcamp.

Q: What will I get out of this bootcamp?

A: Renewed motivation, increased energy, natural weight loss, a better relationship with food and your body–all of these things are possible with the Eat Well Bootcamp. You’ll definitely feel a sense of relief that you don’t need to diet anymore to lose weight.

Q: What kinds of tools do I get with the Bootcamp?

A: In addition to all of the one-on-one support sessions, you’ll also get a Bootcamp care package sent to you via snail mail and a binder for all of the handouts and worksheets you’ll receive throughout the program. The care package includes lots of useful tools like books, self-care products and food samples.

Q: How do I sign up?

A: Your first step is to sign up for a Nutrition Discovery Session–in this 50 minute phone conversation, we’ll discuss your health goals, and nutrition needs and make sure that the Eat Well Bootcamp is the kind of support you need. After the Discovery Session, we can begin your six-week Eat Well Bootcamp. You can sign up through this webpage, or by contacting me!
