So the Winter Resilience Detox started yesterday and let me tell you–I’m feeling awesome.
Not only do I have the support of 8 amazing women, I can already feel the difference in my body!
Leafy greens = power food.
I usually start my day with some coffee with coconut milk. I learned this trick from Whole9: coconut milk naturally separates so that you can scoop the cream off the top and leave the water on the bottom. I always add a generous scoop of coconut cream to my cup o’ joe.
two handfuls of spinach
1 cup So Delicious coconut milk (unsweetened)
1 Tbsp spoon almond butter
1/2 a frozen banana
2 Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
sea salt, pepper
garlic powder and cinnamon
Simple sprinkle the spices on both sides of the chicken and bake at 350 for 25 to 30 minutes. This recipe was inspired by Clothes Make the Girl’s Weekly Cook-Up Chicken in Well Fed. I love it because it’s easy peasy.
I made a batch of coconut butter last week in anticipation of the detox: It’s a quick, delicious snack filled with healthy fat.
So far so good with the Winter Resilience Detox! I’m so excited to see where this detox takes us…
What healthy foods have you been enjoying this week?
