I’ve created a monster.
A smoothie monster.
I went into an ingredient frenzy: unable to decide which ingredients to add, I used all of them.
ALL OF THEM.
2 handfuls raw spinach
1/2 frozen banana
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1 Tbsp chia seeds
a dollop of Cinnamon Sunbutter
an open handful of unsweetened coconut flakes
So Delicious Unsweetened Coconut Milk Beverage (enough to make the blender work…)
~2 ice cubes (for good measure)
I’d never used avocado in a smoothie before this– it totally changes the texture…and I like it!
I couldn’t taste the blueberries, which was a bummer. I was hoping this would turn out like the Bluesberry Smoothies of yore. Next time, more blueberries…
With the Winter Resilience Detox, I’ve been working on getting more green veggies (spinach) and healthy fats (avocado, coconut…) into my daily routine. I’d say this smoothie did the trick!
