My Blueberry Winter

It’s wintertime…right?

Because it kinda feels like spring out there right now.

In honor of this fake-spring weather, I made a blueberry smoothie.

Pretty simple to throw together:

Blueberry Winter Smoothie

Ingredients:

1 cup frozen blueberries (wild are delicious!)

1/2 frozen banana

1 cup Unsweetened So Delicious Coconut Milk

1 packet Chocolate Amazing Grass Green Superfood

Blueberries are my favorite. I love turning to them when I have a sweet craving.

I love them because they’re blue… (pic from my new favorite book, Farm Anatomy.  When I was little, I wanted to be a farmer…)

Blueberries remind me of summer.

    You just gave me an idea for a blueberry + coconut cream smoothie. Adding a little green superfood powder and some whey protein is more my speed, but I like the paleo simplicity of your recipe! 🙂

      Thanks, Sunny! If I weren’t whole food detoxing I might add a little whey protein too. The more nutrition the better!
