Cumin is a favorite spice in our house.
We love it on steak.
We love it in guacamole…
and we love it on chicken!
Cumin Chicken Tips (adapted from Food Lover’s Kitchen)
2 chicken breasts
1 Tbsp cumin
1 Tbsp garlic powder
1 tsp sea salt
2 Tbsp olive oil
- Rinse chicken in cold water and pat dry. Clean extra fat and chop into cubes.
- Throw the spices, olive oil and chicken into a ziploc bag and mix around. Allow the mix to marinate for at least 2 hours.
- Grill ’em up!
There’s something about marinading meat in an olive oil spice mixture that makes the spices form this delicious crust on the outside. These tips were really flavorful and juicy! I attribute that to the salt in the marinade…
