When I worked in downtown Boston, I used to go to the Copley square farmer’s market during my lunch break pretty much every day they were out there.
Now, I’m lucky enough to have a weekly farmer’s market within walking distance from my house.
The first time I went this year, I got some delicious treats including eggs, strawberries, kale and Italian sausages of the grass-fed beef variety.
I’d never had beef sausage before– these were delicious. They came from Foxboro Cheese Company and will definitely be going back for more.
If you live in the Medford, MA area (Medford, Malden, Somerville, etc.) come by the Medford Farmer’s Market tomorrow! I’ll be there giving the “What’s for Dinner Tour” at 4:00pm and 6:00pm. We’ll take a walk around the market, talk about local produce and you’ll get a recipe that you can make using food from the market!
