Most Amazing Beef Burgers with Onions and Bacon

If you’ve ever met me in person, chances are I’ve mentioned beef burgers.

Probably more than once.

They’re usually my go-to meal example when taking people through a day of Paleo eats.

Probably because I eat them every day.

Kidding. Not every day…but often.

Like last night. I ate a beef burger last night.

This is how it went.

These burgers were so good that I needed two forks to eat them. True story.

Most Amazing Beef Burgers

1lb ground beef. Preferably grass-fed.

1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce.

1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

1/4 tsp mustard powder

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1 onion

6oz bacon (about half a pack of bacon)

  1. Slice your bacon into pieces and throw in a frying pan over medium heat. Once the bacon looks about half done, slice your onion into rings and toss into the pan. Cook until the onion is soft and the bacon is crispy. This will be the glorious topping for your Most Amazing Burgers.
  2. While the bacon and onions are cooking, mix the beef, Worcestershire sauce and spices in a large bowl. I like to squeeze all of the ingredients together with my hands. Once it’s thoroughly mixed, form four patties.
  3. Fire up your grill and grill the burgers to your desired done-ness.
  4. Top the burgers with the onions and bacon and eat ’em up!

I quickly whipped up some massaged red kale salad using olive oil, fresh lime juice and sea salt.

There’s something to be said for putting spices in your burger. These were tender and juicy and mucho goodo.

The sautéed bacon and onion really added something. They turned a somewhat regular burger into a Most Amazing Burger.
