Jeans. Seriously. Fit me right now!
I don’t know about you, but I use the summer as an excuse to wear dresses, skirts, shorts, and stretchy yoga crops. I’ve even been known to sport gauchos every now and again…although M hates them for mysterious reasons.
When the weather gets cooler, I’m all about the jeans.
I own about 75 thousand pairs of jeans in various cuts, colors and sizes.
I own one pair of khakis from my senior year of high school.
I love my jeans.
The cooler weather gives me Jean Anxiety.
I sometimes stare at the denim in my closest for what seems like hours.
Hoping that the ones I choose will slide on effortlessly.
Silently pleading with my pants to “fit me, gosh dang-it!”
Going back to jeans is stressful.
- Stressful because I want so badly for them to be comfortable.
- Stressful because I want so badly for them to fit they way they did in the spring.
- Stressful because I don’t want them to tell me that my body has changed…
No matter how often I tell myself to love my shape, putting on tight jeans sucks.
Can you relate?
I love jeans, but sometimes they’re my worst enemy.
After having fun in stretchy pants over the summer, it’s hard to go back to those loved/dreaded dungarees.
The whole jean phenomenon leads me to feel like the fall is a time to buckle down.
To start being more mindful of what I’m eating.
And treating my body with love.
By making loving food choices, and being forgiving.
Yet another reason why I’m SO ready for the Fall Nutritional Reset.
I’m excited to use the Nutritional Reset to:
- To refocus myself on thinking of food as fuel.
- To get back my usual lightness and energy.
- To start feeling better in my jeans.
I want to wear feel amazingly comfortable wearing nice jeans and tall boots.
I don’t want to be stuck wearing yoga pants all fall…
How about you?
Does finding that jeans that once fit perfectly are a struggle to get on leave a hole in your heart?
Are you afraid to dig fall clothes out of the closet because you don’t want them to not fit you anymore?
Feel free to comment below, or email me to tell me alllll about it.
I’ve been there.
In fact, I’m there right now.
This healthy body thing is a work in progress.
And we’re all in this together. (Cliche, I know. But true.)
Teach those jeans a lesson:
Are you ready to reinvigorate yourself this fall?
Have more energy and cleanse yourself of toxins and excess weight
