Another Relaxing Weekend in Vermont

This past weekend, I was up in Vermont visiting family.

We ate delicious breakfasts.

Sautéed Dinosaur Kale, pastured eggs and bacon. Did you know my parents are Paleo?

We went apple picking at my favorite orchard. This means I’ll have some new apple recipes to share with ya’ll.

In addition to apples, Boyer’s also had warty pumpkins.

apple cider, which they press right at the orchard.

It’s not pasteurized–in case you were wondering. Straight from the presses.

Oh…and they have apple cider donuts.

We obviously bought some. I, however, did not have any– I’m in the midst of my Nutritional Reset. Otherwise I would be alllll over these little guys.

M had one before we left the parking lot. Yes–they’re that good.

Later that day I found a four-leaf clover. Only the second one I’ve ever found. Actually, I was walking through my mom’s back field looking for clovers to eat…and I found this. True story. I eat clover.

How did you spend your weekend? Any fall activities? Feel free to share in the comments below!

Sounds like you had yourself a great time! If I was in Vermont I would be scouting out some authentic maple syrup

Oh man…I totally forgot about the maple syrup! I can’t wait until sugar on snow season in the spring!
