I’m so happy to announce that I’ll be hosting an Ancestral Health Workshop Series at Well Within Massage and Integrated Health in June!

Ancestral Health Workshop Series: Exploring the Principles of Healthy diets as described by Dr. Weston A. Price.

The series is made up of three workshops:

Home brew:  Learn to make kombucha at home! – Sunday, June 2nd at 2:30pm
Clear your skin:  Beauty products you can eat! – Sunday, June 30th at 2:30pm
This workshop series will delve into some of the main principles of healthy diets as described by Weston A. Price.  The principles are based on Dr. Weston A. Price’s research on the diets of several nonindustrialized cultures.

 Home Brew: Learn How to Make Kombucha at Home!


Fermented foods are a wonderful source of beneficial bacteria that support everything from digestion to immunity. Come learn the benefits of eating fermented foods, how to implement them into your food routine and how to make them yourself!

Kombucha, a fermented tea, is a delicious and easy way to nourish your body with probiotics.

You’ll learn how to grown your own SCOBY and brew your own kombucha, and have a chance to taste some!

Odds and Ends: Incorporating Offal into Your Diet


When you’re only eating muscle meat, you’re missing out on a ton of nutrient dense superfoods. Odds and ends like liver, heart and bones are important sources of minerals and health supporting nutrients.
In this workshop, you’ll learn how to ease yourself into eating offal, and why these odds and ends are so important to a well balanced diet.
You’ll also get to sample some delicious recipes for bone broth and pate.

Clear Your Skin: Beauty Products You Can Eat!

IMG_4967_1 Nourishing yourself from the outside-in is just as important as nourishing yourself from the inside-out. Come to this workshop to learn about the dangers of conventional skin and beauty products and how you can work to replace them with natural products.
You’ll learn about foods you can eat for better skin health, and how to use foods like coconut oil, tallow and baking soda in your skin care routine.
You’ll also learn how to make your own Tallow Sunscreen Bars!
