I’m getting really excited to eat a lot of delicious foods at Thanksgiving tomorrow…
So I thought I’d share some of the yummy paleo foods you’ll find on my dinner table!
We got our turkey from Whole Foods this year for the first time ever. I’m excited to have a delicious, fresh turkey that meets Whole Food’s Animal Welfare Ratings:
- 5-Step™ Animal Welfare rated
- No antibiotics
- No animal by-products in their feed
- No added solutions or injections
- No added growth hormones
Butter Baked Sweet Potatoes!
Sweet potatoes are my second favorite part of Thanksgiving. Especially sweet potatoes covered in butter from grass-fed cows.
PaleOMG Caramelized Onion Stuffing!
Okay. This is my favorite part about the Thanksgiving meal. The Stuffing. I’ve always been a stuffing fiend…and this stuffing is ridiculous. Like… I-sometimes-make-it-even-when-it’s-not-Thanksgiving ridiculous. Juli from PaleOMG is a Thanksgiving Genius. You should probably make this…like now. You can find the recipe here.
DON’T forget the green veggies! We likey Brussels Sprouts with Bacon from Nom Nom Paleo.
Almond Flour Biscuits!
For soaking up my turkey gravy (which we’ll be making with arrowroot flour methinks). Find the recipe here.
Okay. So maybe I lied before when I said stuffing was my favorite. What I really meant was that pie is my favorite. I could definitely eat an entire pumpkin pie all by myself. Definitely. I’ll be making this one from the Paleo Mom.
Steph from Stupid Easy Paleo is also a Thanksgiving Genius. Thanksgiving always tastes better on Black Friday. You didn’t know that? Everybody knows that. I will most likely be munching on a Leftovers Sandwich whilst cocooning myself in a blanket and watching holiday TV…aka NOT shopping on Black Friday.
What Paleo dishes will I find on your table tomorrow? Feel free to share in the comments below!
