In this episode we talk to Hanna Bier, a Mentor, Masterclass certified Life Coach and Emotional Healing Expert helping gifted creatives get out of their own way by healing their emotions, so that they can realize their big visions in the world while having fun and loving life. She is the founder of Free Spirited Life Coaching and has been featured in various publications, like The Elephant Journal, Over The Moon Magazine and The Numinous.
Hannah shares her struggle with anorexia and anxiety disorder growing up, and how she went from using food and alcohol as a coping mechanism to learning how to live life to the fullest, enjoy food, and ultimately love herself. She was extremely vulnerable and generous with her story, and we so admire and appreciate that!
At the end of the episode she shares two recipes with us:
A thumb-sized piece of ginger
8 cardamom pods, cracked
¼ cinnamon stick
6 cups of water
1 tsp black tea
Bring all ingredients to a boil except the tea. Simmer for at least an hour, then, add the tea and simmer for another 10-15 minutes. Pour Yogi tea through a fine sieve into cups and enjoy!
Traditionally, the tea is being had with milk, but this is optional.
1 cup pasta (of your choice)
1 clove garlic (or more to your liking), minced
1 lemon, juiced
Sea salt to taste
Olive oil to taste
1-2 handfuls basil
Cook pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, blend the remaining ingredients in blender or food processor. Pour over cooked pasta and top with fresh pepper to enjoy.
